ASMP is offering a two-hour free workshop on registering your images with the copyright office. The workshop is open to ASMP members and non-members. The workshop will outline step-by-step the ASMP Best Practices for Registering Your Photographs and each participant will set up a template to make future image registration easy.

Jim Cavanaugh, ASMP National Director will present this workshop.

Prior to the workshop, go to https://eco.copyright.gov/eService_enu and set up an online account with the Copyright Office. Participants need to bring a laptop and their eCO username and password to the workshop.

January 21: Month of Motion and Sound, Part 1

ASMP Tennessee is presenting a free evening with Trew Audio and CameraTrux hosted by David Bean at Studio Daylight on January 21st.

Join us as we explore and learn about capturing quality audio for our multimedia or motion projects and also get to see high end video cameras such as Panasonic, Arriflex and the Red One Camera!

Hands-on demonstrations of the RED camera, rigging, mics and more, and how to make cameras like the Canon 5DII (and other HD DSLRs) work for indie and commercial motion projects. These topics are important for many photographers to embrace with the converging technologies of stills and motion and with the growing trend of clients seeking content creators who can produce both stills and motion. There is now more than ever the opportunity to create new forms of art, independent films, corporate videos, music videos, wedding videos, advertising work with high production quality and manageable budgets.

January Art Show Opening Reception
